Burnout Recovery Plan Course
Introducing our first community-based course!
This course isn’t just an infodump! It’s based in community, so we’re offering a few different ways to connect with both the material and each other. My hope is that friendships will be made and our support networks will grow!
Structure of the Course
The course is divided into in 12 two week sections so we have plenty of time to process the information, respond to it, discuss it, do the activities, and share our experiences. Discussion, chat, and private messages will be available throughout the course for you to engage with. Each section will have:
A video of BT and Miles having a discussion about the topic
Writing prompts for reflection in your journal
A creative prompt
Sharing and discussion in the community discussion space. Sharing is always both optional and encouraged!
Pace yourself!
Discussion prompts for each section will be pinned to the top of the discussion every two weeks on a rotating basis. If it helps you to work on each section when others are doing the same thing, you can do the prompts for each section on the designated week. It’s also okay to work more slowly if you need to. Whatever you do, indicate which lesson you are working on in the subject line of your message so the rest of us can follow easily.
Here are some discussion prompts to get you started:
Introduce yourself with name, pronouns, and your neurodivergent identity (however detailed or vague you want to be),
What are your special interests?
What requests do you have for B/T and other participants to help you feel comfortable and engaged with the course and community?
What challenges or worries do you have about the course or community? If you don’t feel comfortable sharing this with everyone, please answer this in a DM to B/T so I can do my best to support your need
No creative prompts, yet, but here are some guidelines for tools and materials you might like to have. There’s also an infodump about notebooks to get you started on finding and prepping a journal when the first two week course section goes live.
